Sold!!!!
Has it been a week already? Wow, time flies. Without further adieu – the rules :
1. First paying customer gets it. By phone or in person ( 817-332-1772 , call. it’s best to call.)
2. No holds. None. We just can’t.
3. No returns. We never want to see this thing again. ever.
We LOVE garden furniture! We love it outside, we love it inside. We use it all the time in the store to add a little touch of texture to a setting. We especially love it when it’s white – and when I say white, of course I mean dirty, crackled, chippy white. So when, on a little shopping excursion, we witnessed these guys sitting in the back of a truck waiting to be unloaded, we said “SOLD!”
We couldn’t wait get them into the store, but as with all great things we had to wait. We hate waiting. Finally delivery day came, and we all watched the truck pull up with our haul – we then all squealed like little girls when we saw it. And we all gasped when we caught a glimpse of these little chairs. Here’s where it all went wrong.
Before we go on, let me take you back to our first meeting with these chairs for a minute and say this: the back of a semi trailer can make one think that something is not the size that it appears, and when one is looking up into said semi trailer, one can be further fooled by the scale of something. Okay, stay with me; now we are going back to the point earlier in our story when we watched our stuff get unloaded at the store. The drivers set our chairs down in front of us. Insert silence……. to say these chairs are diminutive is generous. NO, these chairs are child scale. Small. Tiny. Can we set them next to one of our sofas? Uh, no. Can we put them on our store’s front stoop? Nope. So now what? Enter – Deal of the Week.
Now, for Pete’s sake, get these things out of here. Use them for your children, use them for a little plant stand, use them for a garden decoration… or if your sofa is not more than 16″ high use them as side chairs. But by all means, use them.
I will include the dimensions later in this post, but more importantly, I offer you a photo with a volunteer subject included for scale. Need I say more?
Here’s a little close up – perfect patina. These are beautiful little chairs. Did I mention they were little?
